My husband has been needing his headshots updated for quite some time now and about a month back we finally got around to it.  He's probably going to cringe when I tell him I've posted them on my blog, but his mother has been asking to see some of them.


 Well Charlotte, here are just a few of them! The first two are a little moody because that's what they look for, but I prefer something a little more light and bright like the last two.  That's just me though.

I'm a little behind on blogging, but the Christmas season is here and it's always a little busy this time of year.

This family comes to see me every year before Christmas and it still blows my mind just how much their kids have changed since the last time I photographed them!  Parents don't notice it so much but for me it's such a crazy difference.

As always, it was fun hanging out with these little rascals and mom and dad too, of course;)

Welcome Baby Ashley | Vancouver Newborn Photography

This family has the most gorgeous little girls ever!  Big sister Taylor is such a natural in front of the camera that you can see her on my Welcome Facebook Page and it looks like baby Ashley is going to follow in her footsteps!  They are simply soooo beautiful!!!!  Check out the gorgeous new addition to the family, baby Ashley at about 2 weeks old and big sister Taylor.

Baby 3 Welcomed with Love | Vancouver Newborn Photography

I had the privilege of meeting this family a few months back for a maternity session.  When I heard baby number 3 had arrived, I was really curious to see who the baby looked like as there is dark brown, blond and red hair in the family.  Well, as you can see for yourselves, this baby definitely has some beautiful red hair.  Love it!


It was great seeing the family again!  Enjoy your new little bundle of joy!

A Sunny October Weekend | Vancouver Family Photography

As October is coming to an end and November is nearing (yikes!!!), looking back I have to say we've had a pretty decent October. Usually I'm always in the studio due to the constant rain or unreliable weather forecast, but this month I actually managed to head outside for for a few sessions.


This session was taken at Stanley Park a couple weekends back and man did it ever feel good being outside enjoying the sun. Now mom just wanted some super candid shots and as one of her children is an active two year old, she thought it best that the session take place outside where little Miss. R could run, run, run! Wow, am I ever glad we did because that is exactly what she did. I forgot how much energy two year olds have!!!! Olga, I had a wonderful time getting to know you better and hanging out with you and your gorgeous family!

Two weeks new - Baby Ken | Vancouver Newborn Photography

Meet baby Ken at just over 2 weeks old. I think mom and dad were a little worried at first that Mr. Hungry wouldn't settle down and get his photo session finished. The thing with newborns is that they run the show! Actually, I think they continue to run the show after the newborn phase as well... so I hear! LOL!

After many feedings and lots of cuddles, there were some great images captured.

Keiko and Gianni, it was wonderful to get to know you and a privilege to capture some of the first portraits of your new family. Congrats!

I've always loved photographing newborns, but there's something special about photographing a newborn with older siblings. The interaction, the curiosity, the love and the proudness they display of being the "big" sister or brother is just awesome!

Now THIS is how you eat a doughnut!!!  This little darling was taking a quick break from picture time to have a snack.  I couldn't help but take a few pictures of her eating.... you can just see the pure joy on her face as she eats her little doughnut!  Too cute!

I used to work with the father of this beautiful baby girl a few years back and as we have managed to keep in touch, I was given the pleasure of photographing their new little miracle at just 7 days new.
