3 Months Young | Vancouver Baby Photography

After the newborn session, the best time to update those photos is definitely between 6 and 8 months.  But what happens if you missed the newborn stage and your baby isn't at the 6 month mark yet?  This little sweetheart is 3 months young and his mom and dad really wanted to have some precious memories of when he was a wee one.  As a mom, I totally get it!  

Hopefully I have created some wonderful keepsake photos for mom and dad to remember baby Carl.

This is a family that I’ve had the immense pleasure of watching grow over the years. I can’t even call them clients anymore, because they honestly are more like friends. I love having sessions with them! 


Claire is a wonderful, caring and attentive big sister and Noah is such a gentle and sweet little boy.  And wow, I can't believe how much he's already changed since his newborn session!!!  It's so crazy how quickly children change over just a few short months.

6 months Young! | Vancouver Baby Photography

This little doll came in for some 6 month photos.  6 months is the perfect age for photos... and I think it's one of my favourite ages to photograph.  They're able to sit up on their own, they're full of lots of smiles (usually!!!), you can usually keep their attention AND they can't get away on you!  Perfect right?!  Once a child is around 1 years old, they're a lot more mobile and can crawl or walk away on you with ease.

Six Weeks New | Vancouver Baby Photography

Mom got in touch with me and was a little panicked, not realizing that newborn pictures should be done within the first couple of weeks. Having a newborn is hard work! If you are like 99% of other moms with newborns, you are sleep deprived and recovering from the birth... AND depending how the birth went, moms are not always up to a photo session within the first two weeks! Completely understandable!!!

This session was done at 6 weeks and look how adorable baby H is! It's never too late to get some pictures of your little babe!

This little doll was such a sweetheart. Mom and dad were a little worried because she didn’t nap properly before the session. Nap times can be tricky to work around when you have a portrait session scheduled. It’s Murphy’s Law that on the day of the shoot they’ll decide to sleep at a different time… or not sleep at all. With a little patience, I always win!!!! Isn’t she gorgeous!

I had a great session with this little guy, he was full of all kinds of great expressions and super curious at of the super cool lights in the studio. The ceiling lights were just way too cool... I seriously must have 50 pictures of him staring straight up, checking out the lights. So funny!

This little bundle of sweetness was such a delight to work with and it was wonderful to spend time with her amazing family. As you’ll see from the pictures, this little girl is simply gorgeous with porcelain skin and big, striking eyes.

I have photographed this next little angel in her mother’s tummy, as a newborn and now at a year old. Lily is my cousin's little girl and is just the cutest little thing ever!!!!!! Kim (my cousin) and I grew up spending holidays together, going to camp together and getting into trouble together. It’s so wonderful to be able to capture her family through the years and as they grow and change. Kim, here are your sneak peeks of your little angel!
