This little doll was such a sweetheart. Mom and dad were a little worried because she didn’t nap properly before the session. Nap times can be tricky to work around when you have a portrait session scheduled. It’s Murphy’s Law that on the day of the shoot they’ll decide to sleep at a different time… or not sleep at all. With a little patience, I always win!!!! Isn’t she gorgeous!

So different… yet so very similar | Vancouver Family Photography

When this family walked in to my studio, I was so amazed by everyone’s wardrobe picks. Mom had told the kids to just wear what they would normally wear because she wanted to remember everyone just as they were at that stage in their lives. This family has so much character and it was so funny just listening to them ham it up with each other. Colette, I had a blast with you and your kids.

This next portrait session was a special one. Not only was it a chance to get some family portraits done for Christmas, it was also Griffin’s first birthday. I can remember when Griffin came in as a newborn and again at six months. I can’t believe he is already one year old! Oh how the time flies by and it’s just crazy to me how much every child changes… even in just a short six months!!!! Time must seriously fly by for parents!

Now, I can’t forget Jasper either. He is always just so full of energy and just way too cute. Can you believe he is three! He is going to grow up to be soooo tall!

Vancouver Baby & Toddler Fair! | Vancouver Family Photography

On November 8^th I spent the day at the Vancouver Baby & Toddler Fair. It was wonderful to meet everyone and check out all the stations. It was my first time at a baby fair and I can see why so many parents would want to attend an event like this. So many great products and great entertainment for children!

I had my own little photo booth set up at the fair. Here are a few of the cutties that decided to stop by.

I had a great session with this little guy, he was full of all kinds of great expressions and super curious at of the super cool lights in the studio. The ceiling lights were just way too cool... I seriously must have 50 pictures of him staring straight up, checking out the lights. So funny!

Vancouver Baby and Toddler Fair - Sunday, November 8th

This Sunday, November 8th I’ll be hanging out at the Vancouver Baby & Toddler Fair at the Croatian Cultural Centre – 3250 Commercial Drive. Click here for directions and a map.
